i think the concept of reform cant be applied to islam at all, but it can be applied to islamic societies. you go back to the Quran and thats all there is. it's like Tariq Ramadan said, we don't respond to western criticisms to reform muslim societies and communities, we look to the Quran and hold the society accountable to what it says.
side note: good movies to watch about terrorism: Traitor (just saw this one today), A Wednesday, For my Father, The War Within, and New York (last one is bollywood)
